CPES Lab Support
I worked at the Center for Power Electronic Systems as a lab research assistant during 2008-2009. I helped design and code up everything for their new lab support website. Unfortunately, it's only accessible to the CPES intranet so I can't show it off here.

LHC Research
In 2009 I performed high level research centered on the future of particle physics and operation of the Large Hadron Collider. During the project I wrote proposals, memos, and collaborative research documents. End result was a final report and presentation.

Holographic Processing
In 2009 I researched digital holography, its limitations, and applications to medical science. A research report was produced, along with a 30 minute presentation. The presentation was given at Virginia Tech and during my interview process with current employer.

SATCOM SDR
As a senior design project in 2008, I developed code for a software defined radio satellite communications link. The SDR was simulated using MATLAB. The receiver dynamically corrected for frequency/phase uncertainty when necessary.

FM Band LNA
For a project during a radio engineering course in 2008, our goal was to design a FM band low noise amplifier. My partner and I designed a circuit with over 10 dB of gain, a noise figure of less than 2 dB, and full FM tuning capabilities.
